Jacques Steyn

Classical

I grew up with light classical music, and originally thought I might want to become an opera singer. My voice quality is that of a romantic tenor.

The only professional classic music I have done so far was part of the chorus of Wagner's Flying Dutchman.

As cross-genre I did folk-rock with classic instruments and musicians. I scored the Song of Songs for harpsichord, cello, flute, acoustic guitar and male and female voice. See Original

Lumen

Nowadays I sing classic along the lines of Il Divo, and songs such as Caruso.
