Euphonium

The Euphonium might be considered as a small tuba, as these instruments are very similar in construction and playing technique.

The Euphonium is most commonly used in marching bands.

The euphonium is a flared pipe with a large bell, and the length of the pipe outlet is controlled by valves. Resonating lips produce sound as a Bernoulli Effect, similarly to the bugle and trumpet.
