2B2 plays rock and blues with a somewhat jazzy and progressive approach.
In 2004 2B2 combines music with digital art in a production called Dê! This show is done in conjuntion with the digital arts guru Coert Wiechers.

The songs
The band has enough original material for a 3 hour show.
The repertoire includes blues such as Kêfie Blues written
by Jacques in 1979, Midnight True Blues (1990), Moerse Boere
Blues (2003), Handvol in die wind (1980), and the laid back
jazzy blues number I sleep alone tonight (1990).
Some songs are straight driving rock numbers, such as Suspisicion
(1989), Fires burning low (1989), and Augustus (1977),
while Winter (1980) en Dwaal (1978, with Latin-Americans
salsa beat) are smooth rock numbers.
There are also ballads: Weet jy, Dagger of your look
(1989) and Applous (1992). The song Wat ek wil hê
(1990) is in the reggae style, while Seil na jou (1978) is a
kind of 50s/60s shoo-be-doo-wah song.
And then there are the folky Mother Africa (1992), and Die
storm kom (1978).
